1060 Aluminum Coil Introduction and Key Features
The 1060 aluminum coil belongs to the 1 series of pure aluminum (Al ≥ 99.60%), which is the most commonly used pure aluminum coil material on the market. It is characterized by high plasticity, high reflectivity, corrosion resistance, and ease of processing. It is supplied in coil form to adapt to industrial production processes such as continuous stamping, stretching, bending, cutting, and coating.
I. Basic Information
• Alloy Number: 1060 (Universal for both Chinese standard, Japanese standard and European standard)
• Aluminum purity: ≥ 99.60%, not heat-treatable, hardened by cold processing
• Common State:
◦ O state: Soft state, with high elongation, suitable for deep drawing, stretching, and spinning processes.
◦ H12/H14/H18/H24: Semi-hard/ hard state, enhanced strength, less prone to deformation, suitable for shallow punching, bending, and forming parts.
• Standard specifications: Thickness ranging from 0.15 to 3.0 mm, width can be cut as needed (commonly available in 1000/1220/1500 mm)
II. Key Features
Excellent formability
High plasticity and elongation, easy to bend without cracking at 180°, excellent deep drawing, spinning and stretching properties. It is the preferred choice for deep drawing of cookware and lamp covers.
2. Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity
The electrical and thermal conductivity is close to that of high-purity aluminum, ranking only after 1070, making it suitable for components requiring heat dissipation, electrical conduction, and thermal conduction.
3. Strong corrosion resistance
It has excellent corrosion resistance in both atmospheric and freshwater environments. The surface can be oxidized, anodized, sprayed or polished, enhancing protection and decorative properties.
4. Excellent weldability
No tendency to thermal cracking. It can be compatible with conventional welding methods and the weld quality is stable.
5. Excellent surface texture
High purity, high surface gloss, good reflectivity, suitable for lamp reflectors and decorative panels.

It has a large output, wide application range, moderate cost, and is suitable for large-scale mass production processing.
